Government to Sell Beef at 650 Taka KG During Ramadan

Dhaka: Similar to previous years, the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock will sell beef, mutton, milk, eggs, and fish in mobile vans across various areas of the capital and the country during Ramadan. Fisheries and Livestock Advisor Farida Akhter confirmed this information today (Monday).

After attending an event at the Agricultural Research Council in Farmgate, Dhaka, she informed reporters, "This year, beef will be sold at 650 taka per Kg during Ramadan."

She further mentioned that initially, the ministry had decided not to sell beef and mutton, but later the government reversed that decision and decided to sell meat.
