Brother Dies After Sister in Ashulia Gas Explosion

A man dies following his sister's death in a gas explosion in Ashulia, Savar. Eleven people, including women and children, have been injured and are undergoing treatment at the National Burn Institute. Both Suman and Shiuli Akter died from their injuries.

A man named Mohammad Suman (32) has died following a gas leakage explosion in Ashulia, Savar. He passed away today at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute while undergoing treatment.

Shaon, a resident doctor at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, confirmed the news. He stated that Suman’s sister, Shiuli Akter, also died while receiving treatment last night. Shiuli's death was reported at 3:30 AM.

In total, 11 people, including women and children, were injured in the explosion and admitted to the hospital. Shaon further informed that following Suman's death, the total number of fatalities in the incident now stands at two. The injured individuals include Sharmin (42%), Soayed (27%), Monir Hossain (20%), Mahadi (10%), Chamin (14%), Sohel (10%), Suraha (9%), Surya Banu (7%), and Zahura Begum (5%).

The explosion, caused by a gas leak, occurred last Saturday in Ashulia, Savar, leaving 11 people burned. They were later brought to the National Burn Institute for treatment.
